i noticed, that one of my most emotional moments in a month - may or may not relate to PMS - is during the full moon. Some people believe that the stars control our lives. They set the course and the finish line is determined. We just have to go through with it -fate. And to think blasphemy is unrelated, astronomers believe they can predict the future by looking into the stars. Here's the deal.Ever felt like something out there is controlling you? affecting you? Especially if its during the full moon. I have. In fact i'm feeling it right now and have been going thought the same tormenting night for the past 3 months. If i had less sense, and was in weaker control of myself, excluding physical and ethical limitations i would get out there and do some damage. I feel wounded/hurt but nothing/nobody/nowhere in particular, just a raging tempest within my heart that couldn't ceased its annoying howls. A time bomb, ticking. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.. Just waiting for the right initiator to set loose the cannon, lurking in my own subconsciousness - waiting for the opportune moment to let it all out. A dynamite crowded into a room filled with lit candles, waiting just waiting for her big bang. One mistake, one slip, one lack of discipline, one moment of weakness.. and the devastating chain reaction shall have its genesis. At a time like this, i call it my "Werewolf Episode."
Symptoms: - Head feels heavy, like sinuses are flooded with ocean water. Not as irritating as a migraine, neither is it comfortable. Just an unpleasant sensation between both temples. - Heart feels stuffed, probably abit like the sensation of having alot of unnecessary chunks of starchy-substances hugging the heart unwilling to release its death grip. - Tearless cry. Feeling extremely emotional, easily offended and cant take jokes especially those that are personal. Even the sight of someone you dislike turns your stomach around. - Self pity. Expects others to understand, no compromise, self- preservation mode: ACTIVATED - No tolerance for incompetence. - Easily enraged and feels upcoming violent outbursts - like the urge to hit something really hard or simply a dark desire to disfigure someone. Ever felt that way before? If you fail to recognize the problem and let the burst of emotions take over, most probably you'll end up doing something you'll regret. Worst if you hurt others along the way. So here are some ways to tackle this disturbing onslaught. Ways of relief: - Tell someone who cares about how you feel. [risk: It makes you vulnerable - weak - pathetic] - Scream. Trash around. Cry. [risk: Again, vulnerability] - Hit something, pillow doesn't really count. Hit the wall, the pain on your hands might distract you from the other tormenting emotions temporally. [risk: physical injury/scars/messy wall] - Scream. Trash around. Cry. [risk: Again, vulnerability] - Sedate yourself - Pause a moment and cup both hands over your face/hug yourself [risk: you'll look moronic] - Isolate yourself. Curl up in a fetal position in a dark secluded location. Wait for the episode to pass along. [risk: waste of time/nightmares/dark rings under your eyes] - Run. Not physically, but let your mind escape. Distract yourself with books/movies/games/music/etc. [risk: depends what you do, its only temporal the calming effect wears off quick] If i could morph, i might consider turning into an eagle, instead of heavy padded foot and sharp fangs, being airborne is as close as nirvana as you can get. | Hello, I am the moon princess and I am always out of control on the full moon. Do you think I'm a werewolf? I absolutely hate the full moon because I get sore all over. I so afraid of what will hapen next full moon. Help! |

 | your pathetic this post is serious there are people out there who do suffer and im not talking about lycanthropy (altho that is horrible and i do feel bad for those who have it) your all writing blogs and stories about this shit like its nothing, people like you are the kind of people we risist the urge to rip to pieces, and just so you know there is no part of this situation that can be talked about casually, do you have any idea the pain taht we go through when we change? do you know the agony of having every bone in your body shift and refore to have your muscles tear and move some get bigger some dissapear, to have your skin stretch until it physically cant anymore, I DIDNT THINK SO. this infection has made me an insomniac i cant sleep because im afraid of what will happen, and the full moon doesnt trigger our changes at all, it makes us feel more primal yes, but the only thing that changes us is a strong emotion suckh as ager or fear. the same fear i feel every day, i cant stay with my girlfriend too long because im scared i will hurt her, it isnt something to "blog" about, i hope you sleep well tonight because i wont. |
 | if anybody truly knows what people like me go through talk to me at parkour_reaper666@hotmail.com |
 | I apologize for offending you. I had no idea what you (or others) were going through. Although the time and context when this blog was written dated a very long time ago(to me), at that time i was naive and wasn't aware that so many people believe*(or are) werewolves. It was just an unprofessional hypotheses that i simply postulated to explain to my friends at that time why i was so cranky.. i merely borrowed the idea of 'werewolf' and wasn't referring to the real thing. No offense was intended to any party. |

 | Hahahaha, d'you really expect to sell us on the idea that you are actually undergoing a physical transformation?
A shift in mental sanity would be more like it. Look up 'clinical lycanthropy' if you're so inclined. People who DO know better, the blog author being one, are less easily fooled by psychosomatic disorders. Yes, that's what your condition is.
But wait, I'm not writing you off yet, tempting though it may be. Do justify your statement with facts, hard facts please (this means no Wikipedia or Uncle Thor's website. Dr. Thor may be a different matter), and I'll definitely take a good look at it. |
 | Thx hanzerik. psychosomatic lol!! nice application~ i was starting to think someone's gonna come rip me to shreds in the next full moon..
|
 | Whitetail437 I kind of agree w/ donttalktome44, that was really offending to people like us. Lycanthropy is a serious condition and is hard enough to manage without you guys trying to find a lame excuse for your own experiences. We have enough to worry about. beaulee, I understand your kind of meaning to escape, but I think donttalktome44 and I would be better off without you hurting our feelings. Our body hurts enough already. Sorry, I feel it's the truth. |
 | To donttalktome44, although I agree with what you say partially, there isn't any reason to explode on one person. If you really did have the actual disease or something similar to lycanthropy, you wouldn't be on here complaining. Unless you're just one of those people that LIKE to complain, and cause drama. To be honest, you're both pathetic. REAL lycanthropes wouldn't complain about it. We are who we are for a reason. One of them being our endurance. The ability to take pain, emotional, AND physical, and not complain about it. I understand you being scared of hurting your girlfriend. In a sense. I live in a household with 5 other people whom I love very much. At night, (as creepy as it is) I go to watch her where she sleeps, kind of protecting her from almost everything I can. Everything except myself. I go there, every night. Watch her sleep. The cats all know I'm there, and we have a sense of understanding. They wake her if I lose control. I'm scared too. I can't sleep either, because I know if I hurt her, no matter who it hurts, I would as soon end my own life when I could. But, it's still no excuse. If you were that scared of her, try burning Monkshood leaves whenever you can. Dump some of the ashes on your clothes. They have a variety of effects. Try it out in the forest, or somewhere non-urban first. Wear those clothes, and either you will change instantly, or you will not change at all. I change instantly, and it scares me. I live on a highway, so I'm afraid the public will learn about me. That's another thing that scares me. My family doesn't need that pain. And I don't think the public is ready for us yet. They are still having a hard time dealing with Bigfoot, as they call him. I don't blame you for getting angry. My guess is you're still young though, acting on your anger. I'm young too, as far as human years go. But that doesn't mean I don't have control. Maybe you should have done as Whitetail437 did, and just kind of subtly told her. And beaulee, this isn't funny, nor cool, nor a good way to relate to someone. I'm not angry, I won't tear you to shreds, and I won't shift just because of this one little post, but I, like others, was not happy at all to read this. You understand a little of us. Why put that knowledge to ranting? You could be using the knowledge you already know to help the young ones you identify. I can see you're probably a strong(-ish?) person, so it would benefit our kind more to help the pups, than to piss off the adolescent of us. I don't blame you for needing to find a way to say something, but to use the excuse of being something you know not a whole lot about, it IS kinda rather pathetic. Not to sound posh, or uppity, or just plain uptight, but seriously. I'm sorry, there's not much for me to bitch about, since you're still just a normal person, and I can't relate to you all that much. But we really don't appreciate this post. I'm not going to go into the horrendous pain we go through, but overall, this is some serious B.S. We can't even sleep most of the time. Because, those of us that actually care about a human or two at least, don't want to hurt someone unless they're somewhere else. THIS is the truth.
Anyone that reads this, if you would like detail on how we shift, feel, act, etc, read my next post. |
 | To all those that are diagnosed with lycanthropy im sorry...No im not diagnosed with it... but im not human either...oh how much i wish i was. I know what you guys go thru... u guys think us vampires don't hurt when we change but it hurts more than u know...no our bones don't shift or disappear or our muscles stretch or anything like that but what does happen is that it hurts when we feed...it may not seem like it but it does... people think that just because a few of us like killing our quarry that makes all of us horrible but they are wrong... not many of us do like it...there are them that love it that they love toturing poor helpless people and it sickens me. When our fangs come out it hurts all of the rest of our teeth are pushed or pulled n they disappear into our mouth and that is painful...no not as painful as what u guys go thru but pretty close... and to donttalktome44 i understand what u go thru with ur girlfriend... i to have troubles like that. i am a girl and it is hard... i live with my younger sister and as much as it may seem that i hate her... i love her to death... i would never want to hurt her...if anything ever happened to her or my older 2 siblings or my niece i wouldn't know what to do.. i would end my life just before the thought even occured in my mind. And i agree with my cousin lycanphenomenon24 who is actually my cousin it is wrong to get mad at just one person...if u should be mad at anybody get mad at those who treat u way worse than just hurting ur feelings on a blog post on the internet.... And to u beaulee it was so wrong of u to use lycanthropy as an excuse... it is a serious serious thing... u have no clue wat we who are not human and cannot enjoy life as much as u do go thru... it was ignorant on ur part to do that. And to hanzerik it is wrong for u to assume that u know wat ur talking about....Yes sum people try and play that they have lycanthropy but there is others out there who actually do have it...and to sit there and say that someone is mentaly insane because they say that is BULL SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't know them or wat they go thru or who they even are... so next time think about what u say before u say it u may not think that lycanthropy is real but i promise u it is and i am just as REAL as it is....and u would regret everything if u ever call someone like donttalktome44 mentaly insane....
Thats all i have to say and if u want to u can reply to my post..... Have A Wonderful day and enjoy it because remember there are some who cant.... |
 | Okay, here's a little info. Hanzerik, I would LOVE to give you hard facts, but it's just not possible. Besides, if there was hard facts on us, then the country, no, the world would be buzzing. So there would be no need for us to give you facts. I would go in person, but to be honest your post pissed me off more than any of them. We're not trying to sell you on the fact we undergo a physical transformation, I doubt any of us really care whether you believe in us or not. You're just that insignificant. But, how else do you suggest we change? It's not as if our spirit flies out and makes use of the soul of a wolf...although, that would be quite interesting. No, we're not trying to sell to you the idea of lycanthropy being real, we're expressing our opinions as lycanthropes. Sorry you don't believe in us, but to be honest, you're opinion is less than important. So, I told you I'd give you an inside look at us. I suppose I should start with the physical transformation. For starters, as I will be putting personal experiences in with it. But, as I said, we don't change from the moon. It just affects our mental state. If you've become a lycan from being bitten by another one, then you'll most likely only act a little crazy, get hyper, and have intense cravings. If you're born into being a lycan, as I was, then it's way worse. (Note, there are others like me, that CAN have two human parents and be born a lycan JUST because of the day we were born on) It's as if we're lycan, except we're aware, in a sense. Our sense of hearing and smell is MAJORLY heightened. Think of a bloodhound and how it tracks other animals. This makes us one of the best trackers alive. Our bodies become strained. Any extra weight we have is temporarily turned into solid muscle, although it still looks like fat. Our eyes turn a different color. The same color as when we're shifted. Our nails grow at at least double the speed they did before, and our teeth each turn into sharp incisors. Our strength multiplies, all depending on certain attributes. (Amount of time having our curse/disease/illness, how much control you have over your body to retain some human strength, although it matters little, what line of blood you come from, this includes the werewolf who made you.) Our speed is increased majorly, due to the muscles in our leg strengthening. We have a prenatural awareness of who is around us, and can instantly tell whether you're at heart a good person or bad person. We aren't extremely huge, like the size of dump trucks as some people might say, but we are roughly 7 to 9 feet tall, and a few of us have a shoulder span of about four feet. Sorry, I went off topic. This is during our change. But that's about it as far as acting during the moon and such. Here is the pain we go through, the bad part. Imagine, just imagine, your skin being pulled. Stretched, and tugged. You just wait for it to rip, but it just doesn't. You can feel your muscles in your body contracting and detracting. Some getting bigger, some growing faster than your skin, making it that much more painful. The very structure of your bones, growing, cracking. It's awful. Our eyes change size, our nose's or snouts, muzzles, whatever, elongate. Our nose shifts. Our nails elongate, our skin becomes a tough leather. We can't control ourselves when we're in this state of the mind. And when we do, it means we have equally horrendous discipline. The only thing that would give us that amount of discipline is usually unspeakable around us. Our only instinct is to hunt, mate, lay around, or communicate with others of our kind, patrol the borders of our territory, and to mark territory. Usually, I end up patrolling the borders of my "turf", which is the girl I mentioned in an earlier reply. And our fantasies MAJORLY differ from 'normal' people's. Where you think about making out, or having sex, we love nothing more to lay with the person we are with, unless we have the same need for each other at the same time. But let's not turn this into erotica. There really is no such thing as having a pack. It's usually just a group of friends, and the so-called leader, is just the one that everyone follows. I'll include ways to tell who is and who isn't a real lycanthrope.
Ways to tell if someone is really a lycanthrope: 1. Usually, the lycanthropes have at least one big part on them. Whether it's hand size, foot size, or unmentionables. But just because they have an abnormally large body part doesn't mean they are automatically a lycan. (An example of a lycan's typical size, I am 15, and 6'3, I have hands that are too big for most gloves, size 14 shoes, and I have a normal shoulder span of 1.5 or 2 feet.) 2. They are usually extremely hairy. They'll have a hairy chest, hairy legs, they'll develop facial hair early, and will have an extremely large and abnormal amount of hair on the tops of their hands and feet. 3. They'll have an odd odor about them. Not a bad one always, sometimes it could just smell like a musky cologne. Sometimes, like in my case, you just FEEL the musky smell around them somehow. 4. Usually when talk comes around about animals, they'll actively participate, or ignore you completely. Whether they had a bad run-in with another animal, or if they're hungry, they will do one of the two. 5. They'll be hungry fairly often. Even in human form, they'll want to eat almost a whole cow. Literally. Although they wouldn't most likely eat that much, unless they have an unbelievable amount of ...umm...chub on their body. *Don't want to offend. But you all know what I was thinking.* 6. They'll have tough skin. Usually, even as a human, they'll have unnaturally thick or tough skin. They are more resistant to bludgeon damage on their body than most. 7. They have an unnaturally high body temperature. That's one thing that draws women to us, not to brag. lol They appreciate sitting next to a warm body, except during the summer. Also, other animals such as cats or dogs will want to lay or sit near them or on them. All mammals are attracted to them. 8. They usually have an affinity for animals. Dogs always know when a lycanthrope is around, because when one is, and if the animal normally growls at someone, they'll most likely not growl at a lycanthrope. 9. They seem as if they care more about animals than they do humans. This doesn't necessarily mean the crazy cat girl/lady is a lycan, but lycan's talk to animals typically, and can understand them. 10. This is the last and most important. They'll act more hyper, the closer the full moon gets. When there is no moon, they will get depressed easily, be as stoic as a stone, and overall apathetic unless it's something important to them. As the full moon comes around, they'll seem as if they have more life.
And, just so you know, lycanthropes are NEVER businessmen, politicians, or anything including social affairs. The closest you get to a social lycanthrope is one that's in a band, or some type of actor or something. They are too wired and their emotions are too scattered for them to keep a job very long as, say, a governor. They won't be able to go out and run around like they want, unless they live in the country.
Hope I helped. Sorry to hanzerik, I did lose my temper a bit. I hope you all appreciate what information I've shared, because this is the real deal. Most of what you see is fake. Especially on sites such as yahoo and stuff. We try to avoid giving info on the sites, since so many people access them a day. So, I suppose if you live near U.S. Highway 12, you may see me.

 | my cousin does not lie..it is horrible.. ive been there and witnessed it... he does not joke when he says that they are in an unstable mind set when they shift..i was standing next to him when he shifted....he tried attacking me...luckly some vampires are stronger than lycans... and seeing the agonizing pain i seen him go thru was just horrid... |
 | I didn't want to hurt. You. I took it easy on you. At least I'm strong enough to hold back a good portion of my ability when I shift. |

 | It may be, and it may not be. It all depends on how you take it. When I first found out, on my 14th birthday, I wasn't too thrilled. But after I've been stuck with it for a while, it's not so bad. If you're a very social person, it will be a little, though. Don't schedule ANY plans on the three days before, after, and during the full moon. Try to stay in the woods, away from urban areas if you can. |
 | i believe every word of this. I believe it because I have the exact same symptoms PLUS some. The plus is a little more on the extreme side, which is my I'm gonna to listen to the french guy down here, and not bother saying anything else that I might be ridiculed for. But i will say this, it's very real. no hallucinations. |
 | I agree. You can say what you want. I won't ridicule you for it, at least. I was born with the disease, so I also have some stuff on the extreme side. |
